Polish visa

Hey guys , i plan to travel to Poland this Octorber .I have the following questions .
1 How is the weather during this time ? My friend said it wont be cold but i am a bit worried it will be cold for someone from Guangzhou where has no winter ?
2 If i can get the polish visa ,can i travel to other European countries ?
3. anybody had experience getting a visa from Polish embassy from Guangzhou ?
4. What places i have see in Poland ?

I was there two years ago, in Krakow, it''s southern country.
It''s amazing city with kind people, (if you like a tourist places)
What did I see?
1. WAWEL , It''s OLD CASTLE, (past capital of Poland)
2. Salt Mine (It isn''t in Krakow, but it''s closed are of the city)
3. Auschwitz, (historical world war museum)
