The vying for search engine market share between Google and Microsoft is escalating to a white-hot level. In the end of May, Microsoft launched its new search engine index BING, which seemingly have improved Microsoft’s search engine market share. Two weeks ago, Microsoft made the deal with Yahoo on the cooperation of seach engine techonogy. These moves made Google a bit nervous. It was said the founder of Google, Sergy Brin, has urged google’s engineers to develop the new search engine index. Google is now working on new test version of its seaching engine dubbed as ‘Caffeine”. Google’s engineers said “Caffeine’ will be faster and more relevant than ever before. This is the link for testing the new test version: http://www2.sandbox.google.com.

I used to use google as my favirate search engine and haven’t tried Microsoft’s Bing. Did you use it? Does it work fine? According to the statistics from StatCounter, Google has an overwhelming market share of 77.54% in web search market, in July; while Microsoft and Yahoo accounted for only about 20.36%. To vie with Google for search engine market share, Microsoft and Yahoo have a long way to go!

GUEST5103 It is a stupid act for Yahoo to sell its nuclear Search engine technology.
