Suggestions for travels in Guangzhou and surrounding areas

Hi

I'm going to Guangzhou during end November/beginning December 09 and I have only 7days 7night. Are there any suggestions as to places of interest or towns/cities nearby which I can visit?

GUEST13137 Shenzhen and Hongkong, which are nearby are very interesting too.
In Guangzhou, you can go to the Chimelong Water Park. Pearl River Cruise, Beijing Road, Teemall
In Shenzhen, you can go to OCT East resort, Happy Valley
In Hong Kong, you can go to Ocean Park

If you have no idea what's there, why are you bothering to go?!
General sightseeing information for Guangzhou is readily available in print and online. At the very least, do a Google with the relevant keywords.
If you're looking for more specific recommendations, please be more forthcoming with your own sightseeing interests and preferences.
