In time, the Chinese should eventually win a major given their sheer numbers, population-wise.

Golf is an expensive sport overall, but it's still possible to play in the west at public courses for an average person.
Driving ranges, (the place to practice your golf skills) are very reasonable with their rates.

Yang's feat was all the more spectacular as he only started playing golf when he was 19 years old, whereas Tiger Woods has been playing practically since he came out of his mother's womb! :)
