Can anyone tell me what is the average fare from Baiyun Airport to downtown Guangzhou (south of the river)? Or is there any other mode of public transport available ?

The distance between Baiyan International Airport and the town : 8 km / 5 miles

Taxi fare: RMB 25, takes less than 30 minutes

the new baiyuan airport is quite a distant from town, the cheapset is the airport express bus that reach many hotels in GZ, locate the hotel nearest to your location the fare is between 20 to 25 RMB. Upon arrival get to the express bus counter and enquire about which is the apporiate bus to take.
