LEGENDBLISS Points: Join Date: Aug 19, 2009 Status: offline	hey guys, im going to be going to shanghai in about 6 weeks. i went to an agent to get my china visa done. she was doing the paper work and on the back it asks employer/school contact. and i wasn't thinking and i put my dads name and our home address. now the agent said its going to be fine and won't be a problem but i'm still a little scared of getting denied. can someone tell me how often people get denied a china visa? do you guys think i'll be fine? thanks!

I am not quite sure how someone can accidentally give their father's name.....however, if you mean you actaully aplied for a visa and put a different name on the form compared with what is on the passport, then:
1. your agent was incompetant.
2. the consualte could indeed return the application not completed.

You have 6 weeks so you can send it off again, but please don't forget who you are again :)

GUEST12649	hello im planning on moving to china in december to teach english. ill be applying for a work visa but i do have a criminal record. i got a dui in 2007 along with an assault by auto charge that went with it due to the accident. i was given 2 years probation but was terminated early in may 2009. will i have trouble getting a visa????
