I think better is to take a flight to Shenzhen, and then take a shuttle bus to HK.

If one method involved many changes and in non english friendly nvironment that possibly would not be favoured choice, whats your thoughts?

Ok. You'll probably want to fly Hong Kong -- Yiwu direct, though that's the most expensive choice.
