I recommend you there places. ONE is Yi Pin Tian Xia( international food street), which located in yi pin tian xia street near shu han west raod, Jin niu district. TWO is Jin Li. there are bars, snacks and restaurants with local characters. THREE is guan lane and zhai lane, people called guanzhai lane. Where is full of all kinds of restaurants, bar, pub, tea house and ice cream shop. Starbuck is very traditional style there.

I suggest you go in the evening. it is very beautiful scenery at night.

BTW, If you can eat hot food, you should not miss hot pot in chengdu. It is very tasty. My favoriat is huang cheng lao ma. They have three branches in different locations. It is nice environment and differ the others. Price is higher than normals.
