60 day L visa

I am on 60 day multiple L visa and need to stay longer. Friends say I can walk across the border at Macau or HK, turn around and come back. Is this true? Is there a minimum time you have to leave the mainland?

GUEST8272 Yes, it is true. You can exit from mainland China to HK or Macau and then come back to have another duration of stay for 30 days.

There is no minimum time you must be out of thge mainland. As you seem to have 60 day stays (that seems to be the maximum now) you will be good for another 60 days.
