![]() | China’s 110-meter-hurdlers Liu Xiang, former Olympic and world champion, return to the track in style by claiming the runner-up at the Shanghai Golden Grand Prix on Sunday, September 20, 2009. Liu’s comeback is much anticipated. At the Shanghai Stadium, a boisterous crowd of 25,000 cheered Liu. Liu Xian withdrew from Beijing Olympic Games due to his foot injury. After 13 months, his return was successful. He crossed the finish line should by shoulder with his arch rival Terrence Trammel of American, in 13.15 seconds.![]() |
