| Yoshito Usui, the 51-year-old author of Crayon Shin-Chan, has been found dead, the Japanese police confirmed the news on September 20. Yoshito Usui has been missing since September 11 when he was going hiking for a day in Gunma Prefecture" north of his home by himself, as he often did. He was missing that and his family asked the police to launch a search effort. On September 19th, a climber found a body of a man in Arafune mountain, which Usui headed for. On September 20th, the police and Usui’s family confirmed that it was Usui’s body. Crayon Shin-Chan follows the exploits of Shinnosuke Nohara, a mischievous kindergartner in Usui’s own Kasukabe City. Yoshito Usui has made much laugh to the anime-lovers through Crayon Shin-chan Nohara Shinosuke. It’s a pity that Crayon Shin-chan won’t have an ending. |

| Sigh! It's a tragedy that Crayon Shin-Chan won't have an ending because the author has died. May he rest in peace! Thanks for the joy he has brought to my childhood. |
