The poster said a senior executive of an illicit textile company on trial in Chongqing Municipality confessed he has ever bribed the CCTV host. He said give gived a bribe of one million Yuan to Chaijing to asking her to help him with an advertisement in CCTV. They even signed a contract. Chai Jing who is a well-known host of CCTV’s News Investigation programe, have clarified in her blog that it was unfounded rumor. In an era of Internet, rumor spreaded even faster than the facts. I am a fan of Chai Jing. She is a brave and insightful news reporter. In 2003 when SARS broke out, she reported much timely news on the scene.
