I intend to travel to Tibet in January. My questions:
- is that a terrible time to travel there?
- I only have a few days to spend there (around 3-5?). What are the "must see" places?
- can you recommend any good tour groups? I've heard many help you get the necessary permits, but once you're in, you're left to fend for yourself. I'm actually after a normal tour group, preferably with english speaking guide.

Terrible! Maybe not. January is a low season for traveling Tibet. The whether is a little bit cold., but admission fees of most tourist attractions in Tibet are cheap. Other pages of this site offer detailed information on Tibet :
