my friends and i are planning to go to macau-shenzen-hongkong this november. first time. no experience.

planning to go from macau to shenzen by ferry. how much is the cost? where departed? (is it within economical zone?) where to get visa?

Shenzhen, not Shenzhen airport, I presume?
Macau -- Shenzhen Shekou ferry departures at 0945, 1015, 1200, 1315, 1500, 1600, 1700, 1800, 2000 and 2045, from Macau Maritime Ferry Terminal. Economy adult ticket is 171 HKD one-way. Look on http://www.turbojetseaexpress.com/eng/schedule/prd_4.html for more details.

i heard that to get into shenzen we need visa.
can we do visa at shekou?

where do you suggest us place to stay in shenzen?
we like cultural, or historical exhibition
we also like to go shopping :)

Of course you need a visa when you come to China. I am afraid you should apply it from Chinese Embassy in your country?

Shenzhen isn't somewhere that you'd go for culture or historical sightseeing, really! Read up on the city's history and you shoud understand why.
When asking about visas it's imperative that you indicate your passport nationality.
