Chinese visa denied....
Oct 13, 2009 17:29
guest23252 ease, please advise...my daughter and son-in-law booked a China and the Yangtze trip with Smartours way back...they are supposed to leave on this trip 10/20/09...she just left the Chinese consulate a little while ago with a visa granted for her but denied for her husband who is a US citizen born here with a US passport. He just finished grad school and she works for a major financial company. She is in tears because the woman who handed her her passport and visa said that her husband's was denied. But they will not give them any reasons for the denial...she tried to ask 'is it missing some documentation?'...is it somehow filled out incorrectly?'...etc etc. But she could not get an answer from them. Because they are supposed to leave next week...the tour company says that they will lose all the money they paid for this trip...this is a big chunk of money for them...close to $8000....and the travel insurance they purchased for this trip does not cover his not getting a visa...so PLEASE does any one have any suggestions or recourse for them to try? She is going to try to see if she can get to speak to someone higher up at the consulate tomorrow...but I don't know what else to tell her. I'm hoping that someone else here has some suggestions for them. Thank you very much in advance...

GUEST76176 If they come to Macau first (which does not require a visa for US citizen), I can arrange his visa. I am 100 percent certain I can get his visa here. II can arrange single entry or 1 year multiple entry visas the same day. You can email me: usastudyservice.com|info or call in Macau 853 6216 8900 or you can call my China: 86 15 34486 8900

GUEST53101 Hi,

I just read your post and wanted to know if she was able to get the visa? We are applying (US citizens and we were told that some documentation was missing.

If some doco is missing they will normally tell you and you can obtain it and continue the process.
