Hi the happy valley is in southwest part of Shanghai. It's inside the Sheshan tourist holiday resort, near the so-called boulevard (Lin Yin Da dao).
If you want to take subway, get the Line 9 till Dongjing Station, then walk along the Shenzhuan Road to the west, about 100 meters. It is said there would be free shuttle bus after you get off at Dongjing Stop.
And there are plenty buses reach there.

Do you mean Hongqiao pearl market? It's at No. 3721, Hong Mei Road, Chang Ning District. I think you'd better tell me where you want to start from and then I could be able to tell you how you get there...

There are lots of night markets in Shanghai, such as Nanjing Road, Linfen Road, Xinxi Gong, Zhongyuan Road, Dongchang Road, Zhongshan Park... I think I'd better know what kind of things you want to get and then I can give you some suggestions...

Fabric market for making clothes and such is the South Bund Fabric Market at 399 Lujiabang Lu.
For dance clubs, M2 and Babyface are both very popular. M2 is near Nanjing Xilu metro stop, Babyface is near Dashijie and People's Square metro stops. Look on http://www.smartshanghai.com for more details.
