I come from Shanxi province a small city called Datong to be exact,very famous for noodles and Yungang Grottoes.It is a seasonal and ancient city.

I am a foreigner and intend to visit mainland China in the near future.Other than Shanghai and Beijing, I would also like to drop by Datong City, in Shanxi Province.
The Yungang Grottoes is a must for me to begin with. I am told there are many
other places of interest .I want to do some homework to visualise and anticipate, the
the beauty of this ancient city prior to embarking on this pleasant trip.
