I understand that in the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok, we can ask for a "one day" turn around for visas to China.
Is this service reliable, that is, they say one day, but does it really get issued in one day, and if i want the one day turn around, what time do i have to be at the embassy.

Thanks, Philip ( an Aussie)

This is not uncommon in many China embassies around the globe. It does really get issued on that very day if all your paperwork is in order. You typically have to go in the morning (eg before 1100) and pick it up that afternoon (eg before 1600).
