Train from Guangzhou to HK -Visa renew in HK

ROCCUMB Points: Join Date: Mar 1, 2005 Status: offline	Dear All!! I need to go to HK to renew my Chinese Visa. I heard the KCR is good way to get there. The question is. do i have to book in advance the train or simply go to the station some time in advance and get on it? And How long do I take to get New Visa? Tks so much to the answerner!!! MERMAID Points: Join Date: Jan 7, 2005 Status: Offline	Yes, it is low season but do you know that around April 5th it is peak season again as many people come to the Pearl River Delta to offer sacrifice to their ancestors? So try to avoid these periods.

You can get it at the Guangzhou East Railway Station (190 RMB) or take the bus is only 90 RMB departure in different point
in Shamian Island.

just curious but why you want to go all the way to hong kong to renew your visa? these days lots of companies in china that will take of this for you. this way no need to waste the time and money to go to hong kong.
or of course you can just do this yourself at the psb.
the enoo visa service in shanghai is supposedly very fast. there is also another one called 'visa in china' but i dont think they are very professional. of course if you want a work permit or residence permit, or stay for a long time in china than companies will either have FESCO or the Shanghai Visa Center do it. their website is www.visa.cn.com but dont remember the fesco site. the fesco people is the governemnt agent and maybe they dont work as fast as the Shanghai visa Center who helps out most foreign companies in Shanghai.
