New Zealand: Is ice age coming?
Nov 24, 2009 00:13
Several days ago, I heard that four icebergs were heading toward the New Zealand. Today, another news says that an iceberg which split in half near Macquarie Island, about halfway between New
Zealand and Antarctica, is slowly drifting north. It means that another iceberg is moving toward the New Zealand.

Is ice age coming? So many icebergs appear in the places where they shouldn’t be. Obviously not. Some scientist said that global warming causes many icebergs in the South Pole melt and drift away. I am afraid that we will not see the iceberg one day.

Ice age doesn't seem to come but the flood age might come as 2010 describes. The temperature is getting high. If the icebergs in South and North Poles melt more quickly, the flood age will come sooner.

Jimmyb might be right. The sea level is rising. In the near future, some small countries on the sea will disappear. Maldives is said to disappear in this century. They are building huge dams to prevent the sea water. They are also planing to buy lands from other countries to build their new homes. Another small country called Tuvalu is not as lucky as Maldives. It has no tourist resources and no other countries would like to accommodate its people because Tuvalu can't afford enough money to buy lands.

During an interview, a man from Tuvalu says that people in the world should make an apology to them. 50 years later, this country might disappear but what about its people?

Global warming issue reminds me of Copenhagen Summit. The nations who took part in the meeting didn't reach an agreement. The environmentalist protested in Copenhagen but nothing changed finally.

Ice Age is coming. Will the Dinosaurs come back?

An Ice Age is NOT coming: global warming has arrived. The icebergs are perhaps from global warming, if an ice age was coming, the ice would not be breaking away but spreading as a continuous area.

GUEST16254 The world has not even reached the temperature of the middle ages yet, Global warming was just a myth or maybe a religion.
