Went there beginning of this year and liked it so much, I decided to go back end of January next year.
Not speaking chinese I'm wondering if there are a few english speaking locals there.

Also took a pic at the local market anstill wonder what they are? Fruits, vegetables?

Those somehow look like coconuts to me, not sure if I'm correct.
Yes, there are guesthouse and hostel owners and staff in Lijiang who do speak English.
