guest22247	we (2, from new zealand) are flying to hong kong on 17th december and return on 7th jan. after christmas we want to travel to dali by train for a few days and stay in a hostel. on the chinese embassy website there is this requirement for tourist visa: Travel itinerary prepared by travel agency, or copy of your airline ticket (e-ticket), or invitation letter from relatives, friends in China including the inviters' personal details and contact information. since we are travelling by train, not plane, (and without a travel agent) we are unable to provide any of these. should I go to a chinese travel agent and see if they can book the trains and make an itinerary? or will I be able to get visas without these things?
