If you see street vendors selling pigeon eggs, please be careful with them! A report says that some street vendors sell fake pigeon eggs. They bleach quail eggs in banana oil and then those quail eggs’ turn white. An ordinary man can’t distinguish them from real pigeon eggs.

It is reported that those street vendors have made a lot of money from selling fake pigeon eggs. Half a kilo of quail eggs costs FOUR RMB. But one pigeon egg costs 3.5 or 4 RMB. That’s why they sell fake pigeon eggs.

Ignore the color of these two eggs, can you distinguish which one is real?

I can't distinguish between bleached quail eggs and pigeon eggs. So I decide not to eat pigeon eggs though they are very nutritious stuff.
