hello can anyone tell me please it is possible to get a train or bus directly from Turpan to Jiayuguan or i have to return to Urumgi to have this done?and any recommendation a good hostels for 9 person in both Turpan and Jiayuguan?many thanks my friends .

You can go from Turpan to Dunhuang by train and from Dunhuang to Jiayuguan by bus.
Dunhuang Raiway Station is more than 100 kilometers from the downtown area.
As a tourist city, Dunhuang offers abundantly hotesl of various standards. Guess u can find easily hotels that can offer accomodation for 9 people.

There are many trains between Turpan and Jiayuguan, the journey will take you about 14 hours.

thanx 4 the replies buddies,#1 do you know how long does it take for the train from Turpan-Dunhuang ,and travel time for Dunhuang/Jiayuguan by bus?have a nice day mates.

I have found info for u. From Turpan to Dunhuang, and Dunhuang to Jiayuguan, and also Turpan to Jiayuguan directly, which info do u need?
There are so many trains to choose!

Hi peppermint,nice to hear from you,i'd like to know the infos about the train from Turpan-Dunhuang ,like the cost for a hard sleeper berth,duration(to decide whether to take a day trian or night train),and where to buy the tickets(possible via net?),and same helps needed for Dunhuang-Jiayuguan trip,and will bus will be a better option for Dunhuang/Jiayuguan trip instead travel with train?thank you very much for your help.
