 | As my experience, normally you can check status in EMS website but sometimes, the package was blocked at the China or overseas customs house, so it depend on whether it is allowed to ship via this way. | GUESTLMG | EMS China is horrible! Worst tracking "system" ever! Three days ago, I was sent an important envelope with four extremely important legal documents totalling just a few pages. This comes from Poland *into* China. I was able to track the thing until it was dispatched from the Warsaw post office about 12 hours after the envelope was posted, but nothing has been recorded on the system since! It's been 40 hours since that last entry! Did the envelope fall off the plane or did the plane crash? This thing was supposed to arrive at the final delivery point in two or three days, according to EMS. It's already been almost a full 3 days. I paid 36 US dollars for this service. To top it off, the website (in English *and* Chinese) is down and I can't even check the track again directly from EMS! To add insult to injury, I called the telephone hotline several times and not a single person there could speak kindergarten English. It's friggin' pitiful! Did I just waste 36 dollars along with legal documents costing several times more than that by choosing EMS China? WTF! |

| GUESTLMG | EMS finally updated the tracking of my envelope. It appears to have arrived at the Beijing sorting center and departed to Chengdu a few hours later. That was yesterday. Hopefully, it will arrive at its final destination Saturday or Monday. If it does, then the service would not have been two or three days as I was told by EMS, but 5-7. Not bad, but not exactly express, and certainly not worth $36. Anyhow, let's see if they update the tracking when it reaches and leaves its next-to-last destination (Chengdu). I bet that I'll get the envelope before they update it! |
