Jiuzhaiguo in winter

guest85150 Has anyone caught the bus from Chengdu to Jiuzhaiguo in winter? Is it even possible? If so, How long did it take?

Otherwise has anyone flown to the airport there? I've heard it can be hard getting a bus into town from the airport as they only leave when it is full..is this true?
thanks.

Hard getting on the Jiuzhaigou airport bus, but there're always taxis available at a fixed fare.

GUEST86167 thanks Ellyse. Any idea how much the fixed fare taxi should cost?

thanks again.

The fare is displayed on a big sign at the taxi stand. It was about 250 RMB a few years ago, probably closer to 300 RMB now.

GUEST86167 Thanks again!

Does the taxi go directly to Jiuzhaigou town or does it stop in Huanglong and then need another taxi or bus? At that price, want to make sure I get my money's worth!

Also if anyone has an email address for a good hotel/guesthouse in Jiuzhaigou I'd be grateful for the info. I'm happy to spend up to 150 RMB per night.

thanks.

Jiuzhaigou, of course!
No need to pre-book, just turn up and find what's available. There're lots of places to stay for a few km around the park entrance.
