Hi
I live in NT Australia which does not have a Chinese Consulate . Can I go in person to another state and make application, I will be in Victoria for one month before I go to Xingang for one day via Hong kong for one day.

Also do I need a single or multiple visa.

Regards

You can send your visa application via express post to the Chinese consulate in Melbourne and attach a returned addressed express post envelope. They do charge a $10 admin fee. Alternatively, you can submit your application in person when you're in melbourne. It takes 4 working days.

You will only need single entry if you are entering china once.
