From Shanghai to Hangzhou

Anyone can help me : from Shanghai going to Hangzhou

1. If go by train how long will it take?

2. Where to buy the train ticket? ( there is 2 train station in shanghai)

3. How much is the fare? How many trip a day?

4. Any better hotel in Hangzhou pls advice.

1) If you're going by the D trains it'll take about 1.5 hours each way.
2) Either train station will do. If you want help with pre-buying tickets, email me at yahoo.com|ellyse99 and put "TravelChinaGuide" and your own username (eg Samantha) in the subject line.
3) On the D trains it's 54/64 RMB for 2nd/1st-class seat each way. Around 20 D trains each way daily.
4) What's your definition of "better"?!

Thanks for replying me. What is D trains? and 54/64 is that mean RMB54 for 2nd class of seat ? what is he difference between 1st class and 2nd class.

D trains are fastest trains.
Yes, 54 RMB for 2nd-class, each way.
1st-class is better than 2nd-class, of course. More legroom and less crowded, plus you can enter from the soft-seat lounge so you don't have to squeeze to get through ticket check.
