A man in Shenzhen didn’t want to see his unconscious wife suffering from the disease so that he took away his wife’s respirator and watched her die in front of him. The nurses tried to stop him but failed. His wife’s sister eventually called the police. As a result, the man was detained on suspicion of murdering his wife.

Recently, this case was passed to the Shenzhen Intermediate People’s Court. The man was accused of murdering his wife. In the court, he pled guilty but explained that he actually didn’t want to murder his wife. According to him, he just tried to help his wife die with dignity.

Whereas, the girl’s parents insisted that he murdered their daughter and required 1,280,000 as compensation. The girl’s mother also suspected that her son-in-law raised a mistress outside because he got back home very late at night. She talked this to her daughter and her daughter said that she would die with him if she found out her husband had a woman outside.

Besides, the girl bought an insurance plan in Hong Kong. If she turned into a vegetable, her families couldn’t get the compensation and had to pay for the medical expenses. The girl’s families doubted that their daughter’s husband didn’t want to pay the medical expenses so that he killed their daughter.

Everyone only has one life and no one has the right to derive of other people’s lives. Do you think the man murdered his wife on purpose or helped her die with dignity?

Cherry, it seems very complicated after reading what you wrote. Anyway, he had no right to end his wife's life even he really wanted to help his wife. He should be responsible for his wife's death.

If he really raises a mistress, I suspect he has agenda to kill his wife rather than end her misery.

Lonely, you are right. Under such circumstance, it's hard to see why he killed his wife.
