Multiple entry visa for China & entry to Tibet - help!
Jan 21, 2010 21:07
guest61185 Hi there
My partner and I are hoping to travel to China in June (2010). We were looking at getting a multiple entry as we plan to visit Hong Kong and Macua, but have read somewhere that as this is our first visit we will not be allowed. Can anyone confirm this?
We also would like to visit Tibet and were advised not to let the Chinese Embassy know...is this true?
Thank you in advance for any advice! I am currently living in Australia but with a British passport so I am hoping this doesn't pose any problems either!

For the Tibet part,pPlease see my post on http://community.travelchinaguide.com/forum2.asp?i=56198. There should not be any problem visiting Tibet but if you are concerned, don't mention it on the visa application, just list some other provinces or cities.

Being British living in Australia should not add any extra difficulty, nor should this being your first visit. The application form in Australia has a fee for foreign applicants seeking multiple entry. Please also see http://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa.htm and the related headings on the left.

GUEST61185 Thank you very much for getting back to. Sometimes the Internet and too much information can make a simple task complicated!
We are going to try for the multiple and see how it goes. Thanks again!
