Over-hyped, over-crowded, over-touristy and over-priced. They charge admission for each and every garden. Tongli also has a really nice garden which isn't as crowded as the ones in Suzhou, and it's included in the admission price. Shanghai's Yuyuan is also quite nice, and no more crowded than Suzhou's gardens.
