What kind of health plan does China have? And as an American, how do I go about getting covered while there?

China's health plans are for their own citizens, not foreigners.

You can pay with cash..doctors visit will cost you less than $10 U.S.in most places.I had a Cat Scan done after a 20 minute wait for about $20! If you are thinking of having any major surgery done you can't find too many places cheaper than China
