Please help: Visa Enquiry
Jan 30, 2010 23:30
guest10422 Hi there.

Just obtained my chinese visa in Hanoi, Vietnam and opted for a single entry. However, I plan to travel the South East provinces then wanted to go to Hong Kong for Chinese New Year and then back into China and up to Shanghai. I have since been informed that I will not be able to re-enter China after Hong Kong with my visa as I need a multiple entry.
Is there any way around this???
Could I buy another visa in Hong Kong and have two on the go, or can I extend it somewhere other than Beijing?
Have sorted out accomodation in Hong Kong and would love to go.

Any help would be muchly appreciated!!
Many thanks
Kim

Siingle entry means"single entry"..you get stamped at the border going to HongKong..coming back into mainland China will require a new visa..should be easy enough to get in HK

And... no you can never have two current visas, the last issued cancels the previous one. It is probably more difficult to get a dual entry in Beijing than applying while in HK. If you have no plans to exit and re-enter, a single entry visa will suffice
