 | Hi! I arrived in Shekhou a week ago to give lessons in a training center. My chinese is very bad, I m French in fact. Can anyone help me to get informations in SZ? Like where can I go shopping (clothes)? Where can I get mandarin courses, cheap one? Where can I buy english newspaper? Where can I find jobs and staff??? Cheers, Aude. |

| For shopping u can go to Maoye Department or Taiyang Guangchang. If u can bargain, u can go to the free market like Dong Men. Always remember to bargain! As for Mandarine learning, the cheapest way i think is you teach someone French and he or she teaches u Chinese. In one word, take care of yourself when u r in shenzhen.Social security is not that good!Always be aware of pickpocket or even robbers. |

| Hey Bud, If you want some good shopping and a good perve go to Dongman markets in the Louhu District. The clothes are a bit tight if your a medium build, but great night life,, worth a look. |

| U need to be on guard all the time since there are many pickpockts and the vendors sometimes are very rude. If u try on some clothes and then decide you wont take it, sometimes the vendor will force u to buy it! |

| Salut Aude, on me propose un job sur Shenzhen que je ne connais pas du tout. Peut tu me dire si tu te plait, comment tu le ressent. Je suis à la recherche de temoignages qui m'indiqueront si oui ou non je fais le grand pas sacant en plus que je parle pas un mot chinois. Je te remercie pour ton aide. |

| Salut, Ca depend ce que tu recherches en fait. Au debut je n aimais pas du tout etre ici parce que c est une ville nouvelle, cree il y a une vingtaine d annees, donc sans histoire ni trop d ame non plus, parce qu ici ce sont des Chinois de toute la Chine qui viennent pour travailler. Y a pas ce cote Chinois comme on l imagine quand on arrive de France.Y a rien d historique. Ca ressemble a l Europe, y a des buidings partout et des tonnes de magasins et centres commerciaux. Ceci dis, on s habitue et l avantage c est que c est une ville propre. Il parait qu il y a ici beaucoup d opportunites pour des jobs bien payes et interressants. Quant au fait que tu parles pas Chinois, je sais pas trop. Y a plein d etrangers qui parlent pas Chinois, peut etre qu une fois sur place tu aura envie d apprendre. En general les Chinois ne parlent pas Anglais. Souvent les etrangers restent entre eux, je sais pas trop parce que je travaille pour une entreprise Chinoise et vit avec des proprietaires chinois, mais c est ce que j ai entendue dire. Voila, j espere t avoir fournit qqs renseignements utiles, je sais que c est dificile de trouver des infos sur SZ de France. Si tu as d autres questions n hesite pas, Aude. |
