| Hello together, i have heard that in the past often ppl didn't get a Visa cuz they have sometimes only a little mistakes in their request, and they get no Visa. Okay, when somebody makes mistakes, it's their own fault. But there were also a friend who told me that he get no visa, even when he wrote down everything correct. So is it true that this year the regularies for Visarequests not that strong? There were some rumors who say that this year they planned to give more Visas out than all the years before! Cuz i planned to go this year for 2-3 weeks to China. Just visiting a friend and mostly some other nice places. Greetings Sascha |

| When you apply for a visa the desk officer normally checks the application and you can sort out the problems without too much trouble. I think China is getting a little stricter with issuing visas but it has been very easy going for a long time much easier than for many western countries. You should not have any great problem unless you list a significant criminal background or come from one of a few countries where the regulations are applied to the full (as ANY applicant can be required to show they have sufficient funds at the rate of US$100 a day, have a return airfare, and an invitation). |
