Travelling In Hainan

I will be making a trip to Hainan Shortly to return to my ancestor village.

Just want to know how far is this place call Boon Shor from Haikou.

How much will it cost for travelling in a taxi there?

which province is your village located. they have good bus infrastructure from haikou east or west bus station. but most of the bus bring you to the provicial bus station such as wanling, wencheng, sanyah and so on from there you can get the taxi to which ever village you want to visit, unless you want to charter a taxi from haikou wharhes or airport. it can be costly.
