Free Wifi in Xi'an?

I will be visiting Xi'an in a few weeks and plan on bringing my iPhone. I'm hoping to rely mostly in wifi. How is the wifi system in Xi'an and are there a lot of free access?

Hmmm. I doubt wifi is widely available, but you could check again.

I'm living in Xian and I can tell you that Wifi in Xian is not as popular as in the western countries. But it is access in most MacDonald, KFC, Starbucks...

As LINGYUXISU said, free-wifi is not so popular in Xian. The starbucks and some other coffee bars offer free wifi service. In some places, you will be required to enter the password to use free wifi service.
