| GUESTJEFF | I never have a chance to see her in concert for reason that i know her after her death. It is a pity. But she is most precious for many elder people not only her beautiful voice but also her diverse nature. For me, her life story is more attractive!  |

| GUEST17197 | Yes, "Tian Mi Mi" was one of Teresa Teng"s signature songs, later used in a movie. Like you, GUESTJEFF, I "discovered" the Taiwanese singer Teresa Teng, after her untimely tragic death in the mid 90's, at the young age of 42, on YOUTUBE. She possessed a rare, crystal clear voice, she sang old and new songs like no other. Truly, one of a king. She was not well known in the USA, even though she sold well over 100 million records, tapes and CDs, recorded over 1500 different songs (more than the BEATLES!!!), sang in many languages, including English. However, she was famous in Asia, had huge following in Japan, China and other countries. Later I found out that she was written about on TIME magazine after her death. . Just search "teresa teng / deng lijun" on youtube. You'll be glad you did! |
