| As I am visiting Xining this summer, I was wondering what language is most frequently spoken there? |

| Xining is a small city in China's northwest Qinghai Province. The aborigines account for no more than 1/5 of the population. With the blending of different people who move there from different places, they prefer to use one language for better understanding among each other. So the minority language is weakening and the Pu Tong Hua (Chinese mandarin) surpass the local accent. |
