Anime. Is it popular in China?

Hi :)
I know Anime is predominately Japanese, but i am hoping to travel to China in the next few months to teach English. Is there much demand for it in China? Is it on TV etc? Just wondering.

GUEST33119 There is a lot of Japanese Catoon movies in China. And you can see these movie in some TV channels.

Japanese anime? I don't see TOO much of it on Chinese TV. There're also other Chinese cartoons available.
