Facebook, Twitter, My Space and other SNS websites have been popular for a long time. More and more people seem to have addicted to these websites. Last year, two Australian girls who were trapped in a storm water drain raised the alert on Facebook rather than ringing triple-0. Finally, a friend of them was online and called for help for them. Strangely, they didn’t use their cellphone to call triple-0 to call for help. And a guy updated his Facebook and Twitter statuses during his wedding ceremony. So did his bride.

Why are so many people addicted to these SNS sites? I am curious to know the reasons. Besides, I am planning to do a survey. Wish you could help me finish it.

First, please kindly answer some of my questions:
Do you use SNS sites frequently? If so, which SNS websites do you use? And why do you use them?

Then here are three SNS sites: Facebook, Twitter and Myspace. Please vote for the one you use frequently.

Well, I actually have a facebook account. But I am not crazy like those two girls. They could have called the police to help them but they didn't. Suppose if nobody noticed their status on their facebook. They would have died.

To be precise, QQ Zone might be called SNS. You see, it also has QQ Farm where people can steal other's vegetables, fruits etc.

QQ Farm !!! No idea as I can not use QQ good way because I can not read Chinese character. Reading by translator always not good meaning.

Lion, QQ farm is changed from Happy Farm. Nowadays, people feel too bored and lonely and they don't know what to do on the internet. Then they just find "Happy Farm". My little niece, only in primary school plays QQ Farm very well. Horrible!

I don't have any of them. Well, I have a messenger account and when my lao po still was in China we used that to communicate, but there is no need for that any more.

I myself don't need to be friends to Sir Alex Ferguson just to be able to say Sir Alex Ferguson is a friend of mine. Why does someone else? Beats me. Although I do exist here with my face, I don't need to have my life spread around the internet, so I have decided not to need any of those SNS sites.
