Zhuhai to Guilin by bus

OOIFA Points: Join Date: Nov 5, 2009 Status: offline	Hi! I will be flying to Macau and cross over to Zhuhai in June 2010. From Zhuhai I intend to take a bus to Guilin . Is this a good plan. Please share some information on the bus schedule. Thanks.

JINGJING Points: Join Date: Dec 11, 2005 Status: Offline	last year May,me and my bf took bus to guilin from Shenzhen(a city near the Zhuhai),,,You'd better leave at the evening,so the bus can arrive Guilin in the morning,,at night,you can sleep in the bus,,they have beds... oh,,this is my first post after about 2 y ears,,almost forget i have a account here^^

OOIFA Points: Join Date: Nov 5, 2009 Status: Offline	Thanks for your info. I browsed the net and most info are about between Guilin and Shenzhen or Guangchou. Wish that someone who had travelled fron Zhuhai can share experience here, like bus schedule, ticket price and some do and don'ts. I was told that we have to be careful because luggage may be stolen while we are asleep. Not sure true or not.

ELLYSE Points: Join Date: Oct 30, 2005 Status: Offline	Don't travel with stuff that you can't afford to lose, to start with. Stuff like passports and cash/valuables should be kept on your person. There's a Zhuhai Gongbei -- Guilin sleeper bus leaving at 1730, journey time 13 hours, will stop in Yangshuo before arriving in Guilin. No idea about price.

ELLYSE Points: Join Date: Oct 30, 2005 Status: Offline	It's Guilin, not Quilin. I don't know whether the sleeper bus will stop at Gongbei, or at some other place in Zhuhai. Departure from Guilin at 1900, fare 200 RMB.

I will be crossing over to Gongbei about noon on 8June after landing in Macau in the morning. Intend to take the sleeper bus on the same evening to Yangsuo/Guilin and stay 4 nights there. Then take the sleeper bus Guilin to Zhuhai and depart from Macau again, after staying 1 night in Macau.

I took a sleeper bus from Xinhe Bus Station, Gongbei Port, Zhuhai to Guilin in April 2009. EDT is 20.12 for RMB 120 at that time. But the bus doesn't depart from Xinhe, it departs to Guilin from Xiangzhou Long-Distance Bus Station. I think you need to find a way to get to Xiangzhou Bus Station first. Maybe by taxi... Hope it helps.
