Hello out there! I am travelling to Shanghai during the second week of April and will be staying for one week. It is a business trip where I will be meeting managers and business owners. Please could you advise me of what is the dress code for business meetings and for going out during the evenings bearing in mind I do not want to look like a tourist or a "wet rag" when I arrive! Any help would be very much appreciated. In anticipation - thank you. Bunter.

Business dress code should be the as most part of the world. If you have been to HK, or from the US, it will be the same. April is almost the end of winter. It will be still cold. Check the weather before you go. Shanghai rains alot .

Many thanks for the tip - I reckon it will be the business suit look for the day with jacket and pants for the evening. Your help is appreciated - I will buy an umberella out there! All the best. Bunter.
