For those who have been to Sichuan, which of these two locations is better if there is only time for one? Also, I'm guessing that we'd need a coat in Hailuogou, even in May. Can anyone confirm? Thanks!

I haven't been to Emeishan so I can't compare, but I was a little underwhelmed by Hailuogou.

I have not been to Hailuogou but Emei Shan is only namesake. I find only the main street with full of lighted nice restaurants at night all the way to the entrance park interesting. Not the mountain, a waste of time. Only the view of the temple at the top is nice for 10 minutes. I think will be better only for winter visit.
