Hey i am about to get a chinese visa but when i was living in china for 6 years i got into a bi of trouble with the police the first one was when my friends house got raided but all that happened to me was i got put on hang cufs and sent to the station and then they let me go. The second was i got arrested for fighting and was sent to a detention hall for 9 days and then they released me because the people told the police it wasnt me. On the application form do i put i have a criminal record or not? Cause am afriad i wont get into china :( anyone please help!

GUESTLUKE In that case, you'd better not put "Yes" there in the application form. By the way, that is not real criminal background.

Of course not. You don't have a criminal record. Yopu were not convicted of any crime. You were only detained during investigations.
