A joint statement, issued on Friday after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's talks with Chinese President Hu Jintao and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, said the leaders of the two countries had an in-depth exchange of opinion and reached agreement on newer directions for taking China-Bangladesh relations forward.
