Guide/Travel companion for China tour
Mar 25, 2010 04:25
guest14142 I am planning to come to China in mid to late May for about 4 weeks. I dont want to take a standard boring tour. I want to experience the real China and see more than just the standard tourist spots. Therefore I am looking for a female to be a guide for the duration of the time.

Would appreciate if there are somebody which can help me out.

Thanks

Wouldn't it be logical to provide a contact email?
Wouldn't it be polite to at least mention your name, if not introduce more about yourself?!
Otherwise, which female would want to volunteer to spend time with a complete stranger? For all I know you could be some rapist or axe-murderer -- no offence intended!

Hi Scott, I think it's common that people forget to write the name if you read the postings here. I don't think I would be available for being your company but I would like to help you if you have any problem or question. Hmm... just want to let you know - most of Chinese are nice and friendly but there might be exceptions^-^ Anyway, welcome to China...

GUEST14142 Thanks Herbeat. I checked through the site and she made silly comments at a lot of posts. Thanks, I will keep you in mind. I agree that Chinese people are friendly. I was in Wuhan in June 2008 for 2 weeks and everybody was friendly and helpful even when we could not understand each other. Everybody was always smiling and even on walks at night it was always good to see how friendly people were.

Hehe, you are more than welcome Scott. Wish you a good time here. BTW, the mail you left doesn't exist?

Silly comments? If people ask questions which can be answered by a simple Google, those are silly questions by my standards and deserve fitting answers.

Looks like the resident "simple google" just answered your question Scott. Don't take it to heart. Most of the contributors here are far less patronising and much friendlier.

In case you're wondering, I do answer a lot of the same questions over and over again.
I wonder why people bother answering questions if the ones asking the questions, cannot bother reading to figure out that their question is a FAQ which has already been answered lots of times?!

I don't think there's anyone who force you reply... If you are not happy, why you still answer and then complain?
