I am looking for an answer for my friend. hes filipino and wants to go to china, beijing. there he wants to go as STUDENT, that means he wants to get a student X visa, for 12 months. if he receives all necessary documents from the university and so on and he goes to the embassy...does he need a bank statement with money on it? he never was abroad before... i read sometimes yes he needs, sometimes no he doesnt need only the documents...whats now the case? i found for business visa, for travel visa 50.000php on the bank account, i found even a post which says 100$ for every day of stay (LOL ^^) so can u help me pls solving this problem? does he need for a student visa a bank statement? how much he needs on it?? does it need to be any special bank account? or just normal bank account? he is student so doesnt have work salary background on his bank account statement, i dont think he even has a bank account yet in the moment. another thing if he needs bank account statement and he gets the money from someone else to the account, is that ok for the embassy, do they look from where it comes or how long he has it or u know, or they just want him to have it?? how long does it have to be on the bank account? thank you
