I recently have met a beautiful Chinese girl a few months back at my college who will now only be here until the end of May. We have discussed and talked about wanting to spend the rest of our lives together at some point and now want to get married. We are both students and I will be graduating very soon and she will not be finished for another year. I had a few questions regarding if it was possible to get married between now and the time she has to leave.

Is is possible to get married in the U.S. before she goes back? If so, what do I need to do/need?

Will China recognize the marriage or will I have to get married over there as well?

If anyone could help me with this or could relate some good advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

GUEST17197 You should really get some advice from an immigration lawyer.
You will have to show the USCIS that if you marry her, it will be a real marriage, otherwise, they will reject your application for a change in status for her. In addition, they will probably want to see your financial ability to support her, so she doesn't become a public burden.
A USA marriage certificate is most likely acceptable in China, with the proper translation. Having a traditional marriage in China is an option, that you might want to take, Good Luck!

GUEST17838 It is better to bring her back on a Fiancee Visa, than to marry in U.S. It is difficult for her to travel out of the country while her application for permanent residency is being processed (which can take up to two years). She can get "advance parole" to travel, but it takes time. In essence, you would disrupt her schooling by getting married now with her needing more time to complete in China.

There may also be issues with her schooling in China (if governemnt paid, she may have to pay back if she does not return to China).

U.S. Bureau of Citizens Services has a good web site.

Do not ruch into anything. If it is meant to be, then let her finish school in China. Find out what happens on both ends if she comes and marries you in the U.S. Take time for both of you to think about it and learn about it.
