| Thank you for sparing your time to read this! As the title of this thread states, it would be of great importance that you leave a word or two in connection to my humble request. I would have chosen to right away begin to learn Chinese(which I really would love to), however, I considered asking for the views of others, who may have ideas of what it takes to learn the language, considering the fact that it is not that common back here in my home country, Uganda. I prefer to therefore listen to pieces of advice offered, experiences shared, suggestions and more. I am persuaded that your response will certainly help me plan on a way forward as I do not see myself giving up on learning Chinese. In fact, I shall consider this an adventure, because learning the language goes hand in hand with learning(about) the Chinese culture.
